| Following his appointment as Grand Junior Deacon that well-known man about Garstang and purveyor of "Whole Pig Sausages", William Richmond, is about to embark on a Grand Tour to Councils throughout England and Wales, maybe Districts and Councils Overseas. |

| He starts his tour on Saturday 5th November with a visit to the Severn District Meeting at Pontyclun (pronounced "Pontyclean). |
| Pontyclun is a village in the County Borough of Rhondda Cynon Taf, Wales making a round trip from Garstang of around 256 miles, allowing for any navigational errors. |
| What will be his total mileage for the year; suggestions to the District Secretary closing date April 22nd, the nearest estimate will receive 2lbs of "Whole Pig Sausages". |
